How to replace iptables with firewall-cmd, without problems (1 Replies, Read 860 times)

Hi, my centos 7 server is using iptables so I cannot use the firewall-cmd commands to open the email ports as shown in this post.
The idea is to replace iptables with firewalld, but I understand that they can't be used both simultaneously. Any guide or advice on how to properly migrate from iptables to firewalld will be much appreciated, thanks.

You will have to disable iptables and then you can use firewalld and then add the required rules as you had added in iptables.
