Backup/Restore page Notes are very good and useful EXCEPT it seems these text Notes are NOT placed into the zip package, thus when downloaded the Notes are lost. this really should be corrected to include the Notes into the zip package or just some how allow the notes to be downloaded as an extra file when we click the Download Blue Arrow. the notes should be kept with the zip package for future reference!

i also think concatenating the Domain name to the Backup name would be very useful (for me!). because i manage over 40 softaculous installs. i always use the default database names... (which i think you use this name to name the backup zip file?). thus, i have no idea which backup zip file goes with with witch domain name. i have to download the zip file then manually rename each file on my local.

Hi,

The backup notes are saved in the backup info file and it is included in the backup tar.gz file since Softaculous 4.3.4
So if you are using Softaculous 4.3.4+ the notes will be available even if you have deleted the backup via Softaculous and the re-uploaded it.

>> Concatenating domain name

I will forward this to the development team and see if they can add it. We currently use the installation id.

hi brijesh, lucky you're on your toes! they had me running 4.3.3 even though i'm on VPS and paid extra for softaculous! they've just upgraded me to 4.3.6. but i won't have any old note! rats!
