Hey all,

First off love the program.

Second, For some reason,  when I add a domain, I keep getting the main root directory (c:\ampps\www\).

I have followed the video that was provided:

Named domain
Left checked for add on domain
Made sure directory pointed to the right folder
went to advanced and checked to update host file.

The domain folder was created.
The host file was updated with:
127.0.0.1        example.com

I can access the site from the external ip no problem. But if i go to the domain, it just shows me the www directory. I can click on the domain folder from there and it works.

Ex: mydomain.com/mydomain.com

not sure what this issue is.

Thanks in advanced.

After doing some digging, I followed these directions and its all working now.

Hi,

Try this :

In path\to\Ampps\apache\conf\extra\httpd-vhosts.conf,

Replace all <VirtualHost 127.0.0.1:80> with <VirtualHost *:80>

Save this in new file other than httpd-vhosts.conf and include it in httpd.conf similar to httpd-vhosts.conf

You can access httpd.conf from AMPPS Application -> Apache Tab -> Configuration.
