 Virtualizor: VPS fails to create disk, Using LVM or File (NFS). The disk wont create (4 Replies, Read 20394 times)

Hello,

I have tried everything I can think of to try to make virtualizor work but I cant seem to figure it out. My setup is as follows:

Server: HP DL380 G9
OS: Proxmox 6.4
Virtualizor patch 3.07

Storage #1:
  NFS v3
  Name : Spindle2_NFS
  Mount Point: /mnt/pve/Spindle2_NFS
  VPS Disk Directory: /mnt/pve/Spindle2_NFS/virtualizor/images
  Type: File

Storage #2:
  Type: LVM
  PVS = /dev/sdb1
  VGS = ArrayB
  LVS = None created. Left it to Virtualizor to do its work

No matter which way I add storage I get the following error:

qemu-img: /mnt/pve/Spindle2_NFS/virtualizor/images/1005/vm-1005-dsyfu5lirfqvhxbh-o3fgzd4okpy0uyph.raw: error while converting raw: Could not create '/mnt/pve/Spindle2_NFS/virtualizor/images/1005/vm-1005-dsyfu5lirfqvhxbh-o3fgzd4okpy0uyph.raw': No such file or directory
)

Please help. Im at my witts end on this.

Hi,

Were you able to create vps from Proxmox panel on that storage ?

Have you set correct same storage name on Proxmox and Virtualizor panel ?
Also is server name and password entered properly in Configuration->Slave settings->Proxmox settings ?

I've tried everything I can think of to add storage and try to get the virtualizer to work creating VPS for virtual machines, but can't seem to figure it out. I am using an Ubuntu 18 server but I don't know how to add storage, please someone who can help me by giving me the codes and explaining a bit. Thank you.

Hi,


As per the error message, it says that you need to provide a name of your choice.
Does it still fails to add storage after using a name ?

Once its added, you can go to Create VPS page to sync space on panel.
Assuming you have already created /vms directory on the server.
