Does this sound like a potential bug?
Home »Account Information »List Accounts When you click modify account, I don't think it works for the auto script installed applications like WordPress... and if it does, maybe it doesn't work for the addon domains, and just the primary domains. https://i.imgur.com/XwzoeMp.png Home »Account Functions »Modify an Account |

Hi,
The "Modify Account" option in WHM is for changing the cPanel username and it will not change the username of any of the scripts installed. ----------------------- Webuzo - Multi User Hosting Control Panel AMPPS - Best WordPress/PHP/MySQL development tool |

Hi,
Thank you for the suggestion. Are you referring to renaming the database name prefix in cPanel as well i.e. renaming the database name in MySQL or just updating it in Softaculous records ? Also by "auto-installed scripts by Softaculous are renamed" which detail of the installation are you referring to be renamed ? ----------------------- Webuzo - Multi User Hosting Control Panel AMPPS - Best WordPress/PHP/MySQL development tool |

Hi,
Thank you for the details and your suggestion. By database credentials I assume you are referring to just the database name and the database username. The database password would not change in the case of change in WHM username. I have forwarded the details to our scripts team so that they can check what can be done for this case. ----------------------- Webuzo - Multi User Hosting Control Panel AMPPS - Best WordPress/PHP/MySQL development tool |
