Hi,

You can check for Plugins in WordPress.

https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/resize+video/

You can find the suitable plugin that meets your requirement.

Do let us know if you need any other information.

Thank you for reply! Another question? Am I allowed to make my posts in this forum with an actual video by posting a video link (html)?

Hi,

I'm not sure why you would want to post videos on this forum ?

A video would be more engaging! Instead of my typing what you are reading right now you would actually see me and hear me stating my reply, comment or question. I would record my response and post it in this same message box, if of course the message box accepts html code, and you would merely click the link see and hear what I am saying!

Hi,

Unfortunately we do not support videos on this forum at the moment.

You can maybe upload it to some 3rd party service like YouTube, Vimeo or Google Drive and post the link here.

I think you answered my question by saying that I could post the link here after posting the video to one of the social networks. So the message box does support "html". In that event may I say hello via the platform that I use following your next reply? Maybe this could be the start of added communication feature! I have always been keen about trying things that are outside of the norm but within intelligent reason!

There's a simple trick to change the width and height. Simply click the Text button and now you can edit the code of the embed.
Look for the following code:
[video width="1280" height="720" http://example.org/your-video-url]
and change the dimensions within the width and height attributes.
Save when done and then preview your video.
