Maybe if you have issue with a php script you should setup for use SMTP. Every script can have different procedure.

For use email you have to set the correct DNS. Are you using DNS in Webuzo or your DNS is on other company where you have registered your domain?

Is not clear for me your topic here and what is your issue.

Have you looked into SPAM folder?
Email sent from Webuzo can go into SPAM as if not setup is sended from PHP.

I also found an issue in the past with the SMTP settings on Webuzo, a very serious issue who I don't know if Webuzo Team has fixed or not.

You can set up SMTP so say to Webuzo to send email with SMTP to avoid message sent by the system Webuzo are fowarded, moved into SPAM by go on the Control Panl by pressing the first top icon on the righ of Webuzo and than Settings, Email.

The strong Issue with Webuzo SMTP was:

When you change Mailing Method to SMTP and you put all information required Webuzo don't check if is good, is working when you save... so if you put wrong information Webuzo will be not able to send to you password reset email etc.. so for this issue you can also be unable to access to Webuzo if you forgot the password.

So be very careful to put SMTP. Maybe check to remeber your Webuzo password, after setup SMTP try to logout from Webuzo and request password reset and check if email are sent.

I suggest to leave PHP mail for Webuzo, check your email SPAM folder and if are in SPAM flag as NOT SPAM.
