 MySQL Access Denied Invalid Settings, MacOS [Mojave V. 10.14.2] - Oxwall app (2 Replies, Read 7224 times)

Hello,

I'm working on a Mac. I installed and uninstalled AMPPS several times in an effort to correct this problem. I also uninstalled MySQL and other software I had similar to AMPPS. (Thinking maybe there was a conflict.) I haven't been able to resolve this issue.

This is what it officially says:

Cannot connect: invalid settings

phpMyAdmin tried to connect to the MySQL server, and the server rejected the connection. You should check the host, username and password in your configuration and make sure that they correspond to the information given by the administrator of the MySQL server.

Can anyone help me resolve this? I'm not sure what's wrong with it.

I did read this article: https://www.ampps.com/wiki/Unable_to_connect_phpMyAdmin

It doesn't work for me, though.

So far, it's only Oxwall that causes this problem.
