Hi,

I spent an hour trying to figure this out, trying various ways, no luck:

How do you upgrade the php version? Currently I have only 5.6 and 7.1.

Thanks!

Are you using VPS or you just have a cPanel?
If you only have cPanel, you can also see there the MultiPHP Manager. then select the domain and inject the desire PHP version

ohh..  you need to activate the other version of php. so if you don't have an access to whm, contact your administrator to enable the other php version.

Thanks again. I still don't know what WHM means.
Anyway, I am on my local machine, AMPPS, so theoretically I can access everything.
An yes, I now have php7.1, need 7.3 ...

ok, I googled, it's "Web Host Manager" - but how is it related to AMPPS? There is a "Home", but I see no way to change the php version there.

What I ended up doing, was install a different version of XAMPP, that hat the version of PHP I needed.
Save a copy of your ini/config files before overwriting them.
