Softaculous

Topic : The MySQL Connection could not be established.

Good afternoon

I installed Centos CWP and I am now trying to script install WordPress but it is giving the following error The MySQL Connection could not be established.

Before changing PHP version from 5.6 to 7.2 and changing Root password, I had installed Mautic without any problems.

I researched solutions we previous topics but did not find. I updated the Root password in 2 files, one for CWP connection and one for My.cnf.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you

I was able to solve by running the script / script / mysql_pwd_reset.

Hi,

It seems the password was not updated in CWP until you ran the "mysql_pwd_reset" utility. Since CWP was unable to connect to MySQL hence you were facing the issue while installing script in Softaculous.

Glad to know you were able to resolve the issue.
