Topic : LXC disc support

Is there any chance LXC support could be extended to allow for a disk method other than LVM? Specifically, I have been spoiled in proxmox using bind mounts (against a ZFS pool with block dedupe but that is not what I was looking for today).

Why = Most of the VPS providers I have used don't let me modify the existing partition structure so I am stuck with one EXT3/4 partition in total.

Hi,
Are you talking about file based storage for vps on Lxc Proxmox ?

system = 2G VPS - Centos 7.5 x64 vanilla install - single disk with single partition, can't repartition - Virtualizor installed - with LXC virt only - I can't create containers right now - it looks like the problem is that there is not a compatible disk to create them on - (apparently?) it requires an LVM VG to use for disks for LXC containers - it would be nice if the disk option was expanded to allow this to run on VPS instances like this where we can't modify the partitioning

to clarify - is there any chance you will support overlayfs as a supported lxc backing store?
