same error with 3.0 version of AMPPS on win 7 64bit.
Swithching php version doesen`t helps error 50X occurs anyway.

last string from error log:
[Thu May 07 19:49:16.510606 2015] [cgi:error] [pid 6676:tid 1200] (22)Invalid argument: [client ::1:61604] AH01223: couldn't spawn child process: E:/Programming/Ampps/ampps/softaculous/index.php

Hi all,

This error message appears after I install a plugin to resize images.

I solved it by opening the .htaccess file and delete the instructions that added the plugin.

I hope this information is helpful to those who have this problem.

Best regards,

Roberto Flores

I just did a fresh install of ampps on my windows 10 laptop and am getting this 50x error. Can't seem to find a solution.

Need to get this fixed as I'm travelling and need to be able to work on the road.

I had the same problem. Solved it by deactivating everything cache related in .htaccess
