I have finally worked out that my PHP PostGreSQL problems are down to it not being installed in Ampps 2.4.

I tried copying the .so files across, but they don’t work because it’s not enough.

How can I get PostGreSQL working in PHP on OSX (Mavericks) and Ampps 2.4? I have PostGreSQL installed.

I have reverted to 2.3 for now.

I can’t be certain now that I’ve installed 2.3.

It was something about not being able to find libpq.

Is there any more information on getting PostGreSQL support on Ampps 2.4?
