 Joomla Softaculus install error, When I try to install joomla with softaculus and i recive this error..! (11 Replies, Read 7337 times)

Hi,

Please tell your Admin to delete this:
/var/softaculous/joomla

Then run the following shell:
Root> php /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/softaculous/cron.php

Also i am getting that segmentation error again, it started yesterday. The root details are the same that i sent you last time.

Hey Alons,

The post above me from Umarsa is my web hosting admin and he needs your help to setup the thing for many of us like me who needs automation to install the Joomla.

Please guide him to solve the situation ASAP its been 3 days but I am still waiting for the things to get working..!

by the way did I tell you I love Softaculous a lot...! Please help me to maintain the same thought..!

You fixed it just on the right time..! You made week..! Now I am able install and work over Joomla without crazy efforts..!

Can you include this update on your next release so we dont have to always ask for help from you when we receive the joomla error?

Also, what is the cause of the segmentation error? It appears to be isolated only to softaculous and it has nothing to do with the server hardware itself

We will add additional checks to see all packages are there.
There was no segmentation fault in this case.
Also matters reported earlier were fixed (some were not due to softaculous and some were due to a code bug fixed in 2.2)
