 Error: Parse error: 76: Unknown at line 2, Error when installing any script (5 Replies, Read 3041 times)

We're getting the following error when attempting to install any script:

Parse error: 76: Unknown at line 2 (at the very top left hand corner)

and then    * The MySQL Connection could not be established.

If you need access to the server please let us know and we'll get you setup.

Hi,

Have you disabled DB Prefixing ?

We've also got this problem on one of our servers. What's the solution?

Incidentally, we still haven't disabled database prefix on this or any server at present.

Hi,

Is this occuring on a new server ?
We encountered a bug in cPanel that USERS are not being added to DBs.
This is also the case when you add it manually in cPanel.
A force update will solve the problem.
