Hi

We have added an option to install MediaWiki 1.35.x with VisualEditor. You can try installing it using softaculous. Let us know if you face any issue.

It does'nt work.
When I try to edit in VE mode I get the error :
[dd403c9b7dc998eec35e752c] Caught exception of type RuntimeExceptionor with error report activated :
Exception caught: Could not open '/tmp_upapcv/mw-GlobalIdGenerator31216-UUID-128'.

Hi,

Can you please check if the tmp folder is correctly defined in the PHP configuration and the same is writable ?

It looks like MediaWiki is unable to create temporary files.

Thank you, I fixed it in the
LocalSettings.php file :
$wgTmpDirectory = "/tmp/wiki/";

Glad to know you were able to resolve the issue by updating the tmp directory in MediaWiki config.
