Topic : Change Prestashop AMI initials set

Posted By: blur_02 on June 18, 2014, 10:17 pm
Hi there,

Can you guys change EBS default size of Webuzo One-Click AMI Prestashop?

4GB it's not enough even for a newly installed store.

Thanks!

You can extend it while creating the launching an instance.

AWS provides an option to expand the storage size before launching the instance.

Hope it helps \m/

Unfortunately you can't modify EBS size with 1-Click Launch. Only if you use the EC2 Console to launch the AMI.

This is bad specially because anyone who will attempt for the first time using the MarketPlace to launch the AMI will be in trouble. An advanced user will be ok but most of the cases is an exception.

Another issue is the default PHP memory limit is set to 32MB and this won't even allow the user to see the fresh installation. That's why people are reviewing badly this AMI for no reason, so I bet that with this 2 small changes this AMI will bring a lot more new users.

Sir Prestashop requires "memory_limit" greater than 32M provided in the default php.ini by Webuzo, which fails to load the Prestashop store (frontend).

We shall have a revised AMI made available at the earliest. Apology for the trouble caused.

Thanks again.

The new AMI is already in place but still has only 4gb of EBS. Can you guys change to at least 10?

You can launch the same using the AWS Portal Option which will allow you to scale the image to suit your needs.

Hope it helps \m/
