I raised this issue over a year ago, but there seems to have been no response. I’ll try to reword the issue.
I teach Web Development and I like to have AMPPS installed for obvious reasons. In one location, they use Windows 8 and they have an insane firewall/proxy setup. That’s not too bad but the only thing I can’t install is AMPPS.
Last time I tried, we wasted half an hour before giving up installing XAMPP, which has improved dramatically since I stopped using it in favor of AMPPS.
I can’t understand why AMPPS is the only application that doesn’t work.
If the proxy thing is insurmountable (why?) would it work if I installed AMPPS on another machine and just copy the folder? Similar to doing a Mac install?
Thanks
