Just installed AMPPS 2.3 and attempted to access the admin page, but it resulted in an internal server error. I then did some searching and attempted to go through the steps found in the 'Ampps Admin and Home Page 500 Error topic' that's often referred to, but i'm not sure if there's a specific way to do it or how long it takes? Ran this command, /Applications/AMPPS/php/bin/php -c /Applications/AMPPS/php/etc/php.ini , in the terminal for half an hour and nothing happened. No messages. No indication it was doing anything, so I assume it did not run properly, did not complete, or takes a long time to run. Attempting the other terminal commands suggested results in a bunch of errors.
Now when I attempt to access localhost/ampps-admin/ I get a blank page. Any suggestions on fixing this issue? I would really like to be able to use it for development.
Please follow below steps:
1. Stop Apache/MySQL.
2. Switch to PHP 5.3 if you have changed the version by any chance
3. Restore Default Configuration from PHP Tab from the AMPPS Application
4. Go to Terminal, and run
I got it working! My problem was that in my browser the first command you said to run was stacked, so it looked like two different commands and I kept trying to run them separately. Everything is up and running now, thank you.
