Softaculous <![CDATA[Change mysql default port]]>
Quote From : jashirou September 28, 2020, 10:16 pm

I need to set the AMPPS mysql port to 3307 or 3308 not default because I have a "mariadb" instance running on port 3306 as default databases server...

Someone knows how do I change or where I can change mysql default port?

Thanks in advance...

I found the solution by myself.

I found two "my.cnf" files on ampps directory app, and testing with both I found that the correct file to modify is on the path "AMPPS/mysql/etc/my.cnf" on mac, I guess is the same on linux and windows...

So I change

# The following options will be passed to all MySQL clients
#password    = your_password

port                = 3306 ---> 3308
        = /Applications/AMPPS/var/mysql.sock

# Here follows entries for some specific programs

# The MySQL server

port                = 3306 ---> 3308
socket        = /Applications/AMPPS/var/mysql.sock

And then only start the services from the ampps manager and done...

I hope it is useful for someone...]]>

thanks for your answer,

so i tried with SMTP but it doesn't work as well...

I will ask PlanetHoster if there is some security with their mails, and I will try with another mail also to see if it 's the problem...I let you know after that if it still doesn't work...

i also want to try with the site online but after clicking on"publish", can I come back to the off-line mode after ?

Thank you for your help !

<![CDATA[How to add a new language?]]>
To add language string you will need to create a duplicate folder of the language folder english from /usr/local/sitepad/language to the language you want to add and then edit the language strings in the given file folder. Also, once you are finished with the editing then you can provide us with the file folder so we can add it to the next version of Global usage.

To rebrand SitePad you can check the given documentation on Rebranding SitePad:

<![CDATA[contact form>mail and reCaptcha OFFLINE]]>
It might be possible that your Host has disabled PHP mail so you will need to use SMTP mail function so that your contact form can send email.

Regarding, reCaptcha if you are using old editor then site will need to be published for the captcha to work as the API was created for your domain and not SitePad Editor domain.
