Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 3 Status:	Hi Guys I have trouble Lets take an example. I want to install WP on an domain on my hosting account, i just choose all default settings in Softaculous installer, then my WP will be in dir mydomain/wp, this is because in Softaculous the DIR field is prefilled with the name WP. Pro is that we use Cpanel and for maindomain it have to be installed in public_html dir, and addon domains will go to public_html/mydomain dir. This very often does that people get it installed in the wrong dir (in ths ex. in /wp) meaning there website will be at mydomain.com/wp where it just should be mydomain.com. Is there any smart way to change this in Softaculous setup or do i just have to live with it and help people to uninstall again and install without the /wp ? Thansk for all help and comments.

Group: Softaculous Team Post Group: Super Member Posts: 5652 Status:	Hi, if the Directory field is empty then Softaculous will install the script in the root domain.
