Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 4 Status:	Hi, I have a problem with windows, I try to install windows10, 2012 win7 on KVM but without luck. The setup can not detect the VirtIO drivers when I select the driver and click on next it go back to the Load drivers page, what could be a problem does Openvz7 KVM support Windows?

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 2 Status:	I'm having the exact same problem, it isn't recognizing the drivers. I tried adding a 2nd CD ROM virtio-win.iso and it doesn't see the VIRTIO drivers. How were you able to install the Windows on the OpenVZ 7 KVM?

Hi, - Create VM with ISO. - After starting your VM launch the VNC - Follow the installer steps until you reach the installation type selection where you need to select "Custom (advanced)" - Now click "Load driver" to install the VirtIO drivers for hard disk and the network. - Browse to the CD drive where you mounted the VirtIO driver and select folder "viostor\VERSION_OF_WINDOWS\amd64" and confirm. Select the "Red Hat VirtIO SCSI controller" and click next to install it. Select the "Red Hat VirtIO SCSI controller" and click next to install it. Now you should see your drive. If you still facing issue, open a support ticket.
