I installed Softaculous onto my server running CentOS 6.x, cPanel and WHM yesterday using the install instructions found here: (not allowed to post links) l and then removed it using the instructions here: (not allowed to post links) as I didn't really like the software restrictions.
After uninstalling, the Softaculous icon is still visible in cPanel. When clicked, it leads to a 404 error page.
cPanel technical representatives and myself want to know how to remove the said icon and any other remnant of Softaculous.
cPanel would also like me to query with the creators of Softaculous as to whether or not these files can be removed safely:
