Topic : softaculous mysql error on softaculous control panel

Hi, with the last release i've looks this error for any users on any installer scriprt
"My sql connection coult be established"

I've enabled a debug mode in softaculous and i'ts create a db but in the second stage it's remove all.
Softaculous use the vestacp api for create them?

My sql working good and with phpmyadmin i can log without problems (same as mysql cli interface)

i don't looks the error where softaculos make a log of mysql connection?

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in response.

It looks like there is an issue with VestaCP PHP binary on some servers which does not allow to connect to database with the database host as localhost and only allows connection if we use the database host as 127.0.0.1, we have contacted the VestaCP team regarding this issue and will come to a solution asap.

Until then we have made some changes in Softaculous to handle this case. These changes will be released in the next version of Softaculous.

I have also attached the patch file here. Please rename the patch file from softpanel.txt to softpanel.php and upload on your VestaCP server at the following path :
