Hi, I'm new to the forum, new to working on a localhost and new to virtual server management. I have a newbie question which I can't find a good answer for on the forum/wiki/google so please be gentle with me if the answer is obvious to more experienced members but not to me!
- I've installed and created a Wordpress site on a localhost domain in AMPPS.
- I've installed and set up a virtual server in Amazon Web Services using WebUzo (and a blank Wordpress install, just to see what happened).

What's the best way (or alternatives) to deploy the local site to the virtual AWS server?

Thanks for the fantastic software and for making most of it available for free!

Joe

Hi,

You will need to manually upgrade all your files on your AWS server and also export the database from your local server then change all the instances of your local URL to the URL on your AWS server and then import the database on your new server.
