How will this affect servers using Centos with Virtualizor?

I hope  Virtualizor will pick up the AlmaLinux support as it will be almost the same as RedHat

Only centOS8 is affected from this. CentOS7 will be supported through the normal lifecycle.

AlmaLinux will be THE new CentOS8 based OS and it comes from Cloudlinux. it will be available soon and switching from CentOS to AlmaLinux is a breeze. You just need to change the repos or use a one liner they will provide.

Just wait for the release

We will migrate all our servers to AlmaLinux.

There is also Rocky Linux from the founders of CentOS which is all community based. Alma is from CloudLinux which is commercial business just like what happened to CentOS. I will wait and see what happens.

CentOS wasn't commercial either.

I never said so....
AlmaLInux will never be commercial, as Cloudlinux is the commercial version. So no reason to commercialize something you already have (better)

Hello,

Is there any update as to what RHEL-based alternatives will be supported in later versions of the Virtualizor control panel due to the announcement? If so, it would be appreciated if it could be announced.

Thanks.
