 PHPmyAdmin launching AMPPS from non admin user on OS X (3 Replies, Read 3588 times)

I work on my Mac with Mac OS X 10.8.4 using a non admin user account but I have full access to the admin account.
I'd like to have a way to launch AMPPS (version 2.3) from my account without having to have a full admin session open.
In the terminal I can switch to the admin user with
Code
su the_admin

and I can launch AMPPS user interface with
Code
cd /Applications/AMPPS/
./Ampps.app/Contents/MacOS/Ampps

From there I can start Apache and MySQL.
My code in the www works and can access the databases.
The problem is with PHPmyAdmin. I can access it at http://localhost/phpmyadmin/ and it shows the list of available databases, but every link on the page is
Code
http://localhost/phpmyadmin/57573f

I can force the access to a particular db with http://localhost/phpmyadmin/index.php?db=the_db_name but all links are still wrong.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Have you changed any configuration of Apache, phpMyAdmin or .htaccess ?

No, I don't.
If I start AMPPS from a regular GUI session of the admin account, it works flawlessly.
