Wordpress Install Back-up

Wordpress Install Back-up, Changing Back Up location (1 Replies, Read 709 times)

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 1 Status:	Hi everyone, completely new on here so hoping someone can help! Basically, I installed wordpress and selected the back-up option under a subfolder on my domain when first installing, ie it was installed under www.mysite.com/dev2015/ I have now (using ftp and WP itself) moved this install up to the root (mysite.com) yet the back-up address is showing as the old install address (/dev2015) and the back-ups fail because there is nothing there. What I want to know is if I change the location address by taking away the /dev2015 on the softaculous panel on the hosting, will that affect or break the main wordpress install in any way? I have attached an image to show what I mean too. Any help much appreciated. Cheers
