Topic : Suspend cron without delete it

Hi, today a Mysql update made crash everything and OsTicket CronJob still generating alert email about errors. I'm forced to remove the cron until the issue was not resolved.
Instead to be forced to delete and loose CronJob, can you add a way to keep the Cronjob but dis active? Maybe a status near the cron can show in green if is active and in yellow if is paused and a paused option should be added.

If you'd like to have a more visual indication of the status of your cron jobs, you would need to implement a custom solution, as it's not a standard feature of cron. You could create a script or use a tool that maintains a separate configuration file to track the status of each cron job and then display that information in a user-friendly way. This would require some programming and system administration skills.

Additionally, if you're experiencing issues with osTicket after a MySQL update, you should investigate and resolve those issues to ensure the smooth operation of your ticketing system. Disabling the cron job is a temporary solution, and you should aim to fix the underlying problem.
