Fresh Joomla 4 instance (not upgraded from 3).  Only one plugin.  In Softaculous, I cloned this instance.  The clone operation works.  When I visit the cloned site, the site renders correctly.  However...

When I login as administrator, it seems like the Administrator Template does not exist.  There is just text of all the menus, and you can click through the options, but it's only text and the Save button has no effect.  See the attachment.
Any thoughts on what might not have cloned properly or suggestions for what to look at?

Hi,

Can you please specify which plugin did you install ? As we have tested this on our server with no plugins installed and it's working fine.

Also if you can open a support ticket with us at https://softaculous.deskuss.com/open.php with relavant details (installed plugins, screenshots, steps followed,  control panel login details etc) will help us to debug and resolve this even faster.

P.S: Login details shared in support ticket is completely safe and wiped off once we close the ticket.

The plugin is Convert Forms by Tassos - free version.  I can't post a link or screenshot as this account is new.  I will file a ticket however.  Thanks!

Solved.  I had both an htaccess.txt and .htaccess in the site I was cloning.  The site worked fine, but the clone had no admin template.  I removed .htaccess in the site, cloned the site, and the clone worked.

In the Joomla Global Configuration, there is a Use URL Rewriting option.  In the help text, it says "Apache and Litespeed: Rename htaccess.txt to .htaccess".  My host uses Lightspeed. So I turned on URL Rewriting and renamed it.  Somehow ended up with both files later on - unclear how.  Either way, by keeping htaccess.txt only and not renaming, everything seems to work.

Apologies for not discovering this on my own.
