 Error 500, happens after installing script from softaculous (6 Replies, Read 10499 times)

Hi

Whenever i install a script from softaculous, i get the following error when i visit the site- See below

I have installed joomla on www.imraan.net
and Account lab plus on http://fazhosting.net/aclpl

Both installed sites come up with the same error.
Please help me with correcting this problem.
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@fazhosting.net and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.


Websites which i install manually dont give me this problem, it only happens with scripts installed from softaculous.

It looks like a suPHP permission error.

Thanks, but I checked the suPHP settings on softaculous and it is all corrrect.

Is there something else that can be wrong?

Hi,

Please check the apache error logs of the server to determine the problem.
Are you sure you have set 0755 for directories and 0644 for files in Softaculous Admin Panel -> Settings ?

Hi

The problem has been resolved with the help of softaculous.

the error was:
APACHE miscofig and there are no errors in the error_log
Solution: rebuild apache and PHP. It should solve the problem.
