 ampps not starting apache, apache problem (1 Replies, Read 2328 times)

Hello,

I installed Ampps yesterday for my development server because I have made a few php scripts and needed a better platform and Ampps does that perfectly with the possibility for me to add in cms support which ampps would provide the easy and quick script installer for the cms which is awesome, One slight problem is Apache won't start at all, having said that I would like to point out it is a fresh install of windows xp pro on Linux virtual machine VirtualBox if this can be fixed I would appreciate it greatly

Hi,

For users who are facing similar issues, Please check if Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package was installed.
