 Google Drive backups, Multiple sites - all numbers as file names (1 Replies, Read 5171 times)

Hi all,

I recently discovered I could backup my site(s) to google drive. This is a great feature. The problem is that I host multiple websites from my cpanel. I now have a Google Drive folder full of files named in this format: wp.26_23590.2023-11-01_02-51-52.tar. I now am not able to distinguish what backup is for what site.

The numbers after the first underscore are the wordpress installation numbers. I can distinguish the sites from that but that is not convenient. A better way is the backup could be named with the site name instead of the installation number. Or have the ability in settings per site to choose a sub folder for each site in google drive

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in response.

You can choose the folder name while adding the backup location. You can add the same backup location again and use a different sub-folder.

and then you can choose the appropriate backup location for auto backups from Edit Installation page.
