Topic : How to manually install Word Press?

Say I want to use an older version of WordPress then the one Softaculous would install. Can I just create a domain under 'www' move the extracted files there and run the install?

If not, any info appreciated.

First Create a new database and user and then assign user to that database.

After open file manager and upload WordPress script (zip format) in the website folder. Then extract the files and open your site. Provide the database name and user name with password. Click over install button and boom. You've installed it

You can first make new user and data base, and assign the user to that data base, as suggest by fahadn. Follow the fahadn steps i agree with those steps.
