Hi,
I cloned my live site (Prestashop 1.7 Softaculous installation) and then staged the clone and changed the Prestashop settings for it to be the main live site (live as in mysite.com and all the files/folders in public_html).
I have done a lot of work on the staged site which I believed was the live site.
Now I want the staged site to be the main site but my only option is to push live back into the old clone site (both have different DB).
Would it work if I made another clone of the current live staged site and delete/remove (with Softaculous) the main staged site then move the folders and files of the cloned current staged site into the public_html folder..... I have not done this yet.
Huh!!! yeah! I need help.
How do you make a staged site that is a copy of a cloned site, sitting in the main directory the main live site?
