Resume interrupted installation option in install.sh, ... due to network issues (1 Replies, Read 12381 times)

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 38 Status:	Hi, Indian setups typically do not get continuous internet connectivity - so if the install.sh is interrupted, currently it does everything again. However if it would just skip over steps it has completed (even some broad top-level milestones) that would save a lot of heartache. I've tried 3 times to get Webuzo to install on Ubuntu server 14.04. Each time, I've had to restart the installation because of internet interruption to the process. (Or does it have to do with Ubuntu + MySQL part of the installation ? ) Please put in a check for milestones / steps for downloaded packages and skip them if they are already done. It's really as simple as putting plain text entries in the /root/webuzo-install.log and grepping for those milestone entries and skipping over if say 3 out of 5 are done - and not doing 1, 2, 3 again. I know this is not a revenue producing feature, so you need not treat it on priority, but if someone has some free time, please consider doing this. Thanks in advance. /optsoft
