How to integrate AMPPS and MediaWiki? (3 Replies, Read 5747 times)

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 2 Status:	Hello All, I am going to set up a new web server to supply wiki-like web servive. I got a Windows 7 OS and the MediaWiki 1.18.1(the latest version). Because the MediaWiki 1.18.1 strongly suggested PHP 5.2.17 + or 5.3.5. I found the AMPPS has the PHP 5.2.17 and 5.3.8. I don't understand this part : why the AMPPS has multiple PHP involving? Will that work with MediaWiki? Or I just misunderstood it. BTW, where could I find installation manual or instruction or readme about the AMPPS? I could only see the video now. Does anyone have similar experience of integrating AMPPS and MediaWiki? Any suggestion is highly appreciated! Best, WikiBio

About the PHP Version's it won't be a problem as MediaWiki supports both the version. I searched the youtube and found out some videos about installing MediaWiki on AMPSS, but it runs very fast, and I could not recognize the users' setting. Wiki and AMPSS have many many users to set up, right? Where could I find out the detailed information of user setting? Thank you very much! Best, WikiBio
