I have a customer who wants to update his Concrete5 sites. His has Cpanel 60 build 28 running EasyApache4. The server PHP version is set to 5.6 and customer can set site to 5.5, 5.6 or inherit and gets the same error on all the above. What he wants to do is go into softaculous and click on Concrete5 and run the update from there. When he does it comes back this error
The following errors were found :
PHP version is less than the required 5.5.9
Do you wish to enable PHP 5.5.38 ? (Might cause issues with your existing installations).
When I log into the server and do php -v
PHP 5.6.28 (cli) (built: Nov 14 2016 15:20:37)
I setup a phpinfo.php file and confirm it is also showing version 5.6.28. I found 1 forum post a few months ago about Softaculous not detecting correct version of PHP on EasyApache4 but it stated it was fixed with softaculous update 4.8.0. We are running softaculous 4.8.3. Looking to see if I am missing something else that may be causing it or a way to fix it. Any assistance would be appreciated.
