Topic : Magento fresh install, cannot create subcategories

I installed a fresh magento in webuzo, using the softacolous script.
From the Category pages I cannot create a sub-category and if i create a new root category it wont let me edit or delete it.
(other scripts such as wordpress seems to work ok.)

Could you please advice..Thanks

To be more specific to the above, In a fresh install of Magento (we are in webuzo environment), I select root category, and click on add a subcategory, but the system is not creating a sub category, is creating instead a new root category, which is not editable (cannot delete it, or change title, or doing anything with it).

Any help will be much appreciated.

below the screenshot:
what i did since the previous post:
i tried to move manually, the test category which the system has created forcefully as new root category (instead of a subcategory).
It did let me move it thus appearing as a subcategory, but the page is stuck in a new root category, and it won't let me edit, or delete the category.

in the screenshot below, you can see that the "test" subcategory (which I dragged manually into the default category) is not showing any data on the general information fields, (although is selected) and on top, it shows new root category.

You can contact the Magento Team for the same for once.
