Softaculous

Topic : Local webpages no longer working

Hi, I have been using AMPPS for the last 3 or so weeks and so far its been pretty fantastic until yesterday...I have a couple of sites I had been working on but now cannot open any of them, just get a blank page or unable to load page type errors. I thought it may be the hosts file (I'm on os x yosemite) but all of my dev sites are still in there. I created a new wordpress install using softaculous script and that site works fine. On one of the sites (the one I don't really care about which is just a default wp install with nothing done to it) I did a database repair through phpmyadmin, copied all wordpress files over the old files except wp-content to see if I could get the page to load but still did not work. I could however get the page to load if I used 127.0.0.1/domain.dev however this page has no css theming applied, just text showing and I cannot access the wp-admin page...not sure where to go from here. Any takers?

Worked it out, I went into manage domains and deleted offending domains then recreated exact same domain names without deleting the wordpress installs, I suppose it did have something to do with the hosts file not sure
