 How to get Softaculous to offer script upgrade on local server, Using AMPPS and Softaculous - cannot see upgrade option (3 Replies, Read 1722 times)

I have AMPPS (2.3) and Softaculous (4.4.5) on a Mac desktop (Mavericks) and installed Drupal 7.2.6 to a local site. Drupal has now been upgraded to 7.2.7 but I cannot see anywhere on the desktop version of Softaculous where I can run an upgrade.

My live site using Softaculous (4.4.6) through cPanel shows '1 update available' and I'm able to upgrade to 7.2.7.

Do I need to configure something on the desktop/run a cron job etc. for Softaculous to pick up the latest upgrade scripts? I cannot find anything in the documentation.

Please execute the CRON command to download the latest package on your desktop :

Thanks for the suggestion. Tried it but get the error

sh: chattr: command not found

I'm running Mac OS X 10.9.2.

Hi, just a quick follow up. Despite the error it appears to have worked. I now see the 'update available' message in Softaculous.
