Is there a way to make a OS template when using File based storage?

Hi,


You can follow these steps to create template manually for vps created on Qcow2 storage.

Copy the qcow2 img file using this command from your storage path to /var/virtualizor/ and then use :

qemu-img convert -O raw vps-disk.qcow2 temp.img


Once the file is converted to img then just copy the template to /var/virtualizor/kvm

Then use below link to add the template ;-

Once the template is added create vps from the template.

For file based raw storage, you can simply rename the vps disk file after copying it to /var/virtualizor/kvm directory and add it on panel as template.
