Topic : High Availability

Hi,

I'm building my infrastructure and my VPS can't stop, I need high availability. I have 10 nodes and a SAN storage.

Is there any way with Virtualizor? I do not care about the hypervisor. (XEN or KVM).

Thanks!

Hi,

Virtualizor does support High Availability with XenServer.

You can install XenServer on virtualizor to support High Availability.

Hi,

You will need to configure HA configuration in XenServer, in Virtualizor you just need to set one variable $globals['is_cloud'] = 1; in /usr/local/virtualizor/universal.php file, to make Virtualizor aware that the XenServer is running a HA setup.
So based on the current VM location Virtualizor will automatically update its DB.

Hello,

Does it means currently it need using each HV platform HA features?    Like Xen server as mentioned or Virtuzzo itself also support HA.

How about KVM.  Any solution is available?

Thanks!

Hi,

Sir cephFS you need to configure and add it as a shared storage among the servers which will be in HA group.
And then setup the HA as per the guide.
It should work fine.

4 node for virtualizor HA

- 1 node : master HA
- 2-4 node: HA2, HA3, HA4

if HA2 down, vps will switch to HA3, how about if master HA 1st node down?
