Topic : KVM LIMIT DISK SPEED/IO

Posted By: teostefan on May 2, 2017, 1:18 pm
Hello,

I have some questions about Virtualizor KVM. How can i limit the VPS'es disk speed/IO? This is very important because one VPS can cause a huge load on the server and can affect the entire node performance.

Thanks you!

Hi,

Sir you can set the I/O for the VPS in advance options while creating VPS.
Note: This option is available on nodes which has the CentOS 7+ installed on it.

Let us know for further information.

Do you have any recommended minimal values for this?

There are two I/O Policy  , Native and Thread. Can you guys explain what is this ? and what will be the optimized settings for IO.

This is a little bit offtopic, but your question makes me doubt your signature.

Hi,
You can search internet for VM IO performance.
One link that explains its basics is:
