Softaculous

Topic : Some thoughts about Softaculous/Webuzo

All in All it is an amazing tool.
There are however some things missing.

1. There should be an option to automatically set the language based on the Users system language
2. There needs to be a way to remove/modify and edit the categories. There should be a method of custom categories.
3. There needs to be a way to make custom buttons and menu items!
4. There should be an option to remove the button for the website builder, or replace it with a self hosted open source solution. (at least in the subscription version)
5. Lets Encrypt SSL focuses on security. This should be a feature for everyone and not just paid subscribers.

Otherwise it really is an excellent tool! I hope you keep the good work up and I hope you will add media related scripts for ruTorrent and media streaming.

Also another quick question. Webuzo is single user. If I install softaculous inside a different panel will it be multi user? Will each user be able to install different apps for their own domains?

Hi,

>>All in All it is an amazing tool.
Thank you for using our product.

>>There are however some things missing.

We will check and try to add all these features in future Webuzo versions.

We have forwarded your request to our developers and they will check and add it if possible.

Currently,  Webuzo is a single user control panel. If you want Softaculous to be used by different user accounts independently then you will have to install Softaculous on control panels where you can create multiple users and access Softaculous from each user account. These independent users can install any app they want to install and use.
