Hello, i am trying to auto install piwik / matomo for our customers. So the customer can add it to an existing service/website.

I created a product in WHMCS and i need to enter the Field Names on a tab called 'Custom Fields' in WHMCS (see image).

I feel like it's almost working but WHMCS tells me the domain name needs to be entered. I tried the following Field Names now:

Domain Name
Soft Domain
softdomain
domainname
domain
Domain

None seems to be working. Can anyone please tell me (ideally all) the correct Field Names i need to enter on the WHMCS product Custom Fields tab?

Have you had any luck following the instructions in the official documentation? I have multiple WHMCS (of varying versions from 6.x to current Stable release) all using Auto-install module and no issues.

I wonder if your hooks file has incorrect information.

Thank you for your reply. I created a support request with softaculous now too. I think that i did follow the instructions (not sure if i did it correct though), the issue is that i cannot add a script next to another one (for the same client). Or am i wrong? I am seeing this error:

Module Command Error
(XID n78cvj) The domain “xxxxxxx123.nl” already exists in the Apache configuration.

Hi,

From what I see you are looking to install script for the user account already created right ?

Currently our WHMCS auto install module is designed to install a script only when the user account is created i.e. when the cPanel account is created the script is installed in the post account create hook.

The error you mentioned above seems to indicate that you are trying to create an account with a domain name and an account with the same domain name already exists.

Also the script name you entered "Piwik" will not work since the script name is changed. You need to use "Matomo".

Thank you for putting in so much efforts. I was adviced that we need to use the API to achieve this (https://softaculous.com/docs/API#Install_a_Script). Topic may be closed.
