I have installed Ampps on my Ubuntu 14.04 32 bit OS with Mysql 5.5 when I try to install Wordpress through Softaculous it giving me error :-
The following errors were found :
The MySQL Connection could not be established.
The MySQL Connection could not be established.
And the worst thing is I don't know where to look for logs.

Hi,
Can you check in your AMPPS Control Center whether your MySQL service is stopped?
This issue normally occurs when the service is not working fine.
Please let us know if you still face the issue.

ihave the same problem and i checked mysql is on
and i have phpmyadmin not working too so i solved it by adding the password of root user into its config file and it worked,but i dont know why i cannot install wordpres
