Custom Script Auto Upgrade Option, Looking to enable auto-update for a custom WordPress script (10 Replies, Read 3171 times)

Hi. I put together a custom script package based on the WordPress script package included with Softaculous. It is minimally modified with only a few additions (primarily themes). I used all the current files from the /wp directory in /var/softaculous.

I would like the ability to enable auto upgrade for all WordPress installations using this custom script. When I go into Softaculous in cPanel, I do not see the option to Auto Upgrade WordPress for accounts which used my custom script, even though the custom script includes all files from the original /wp WordPress Softaculous script.

Upgrade notifications work. When I update the WordPress files in the custom script directory, the account is presented with the option to upgrade WordPress, and the upgrade process works. But auto upgrade is not an option when I go to Edit Installation Details.

How can I enable auto upgrades for this custom script? Many thanks!
