Topic : Laravel framework update

I have two questions regarding laravel framework updates,

1. Can I know how softaculous do updates for laravel framework? is it done via PHP composer or just ftp or copy the framework core files?

2. is softaculous can be removed any custom changes once we done after install laravel framework?

Hi,

We unzip the laravel framework core files during upgrade.

If you have not made changes in any core laravel files your changes will not be overwritten.

We recommend to take a backup of your site before upgrading.
