Hi,

The Softaculous AMPPS Team has released AMPPS 2.7.

This version of AMPPS adds the latest versions of Perl, MySQL,
phpMyAdmin, Python, MongoDB. We have also added new features and fixed some bugs in AMPPS.

AMPPS is a LAMP (Linux), WAMP (Windows) and MAMP (Macintosh) stack of Apache, MySQL, MongoDB, PHP, Perl & Python. AMPPS enables you to
focus more on using applications rather than maintaining them on your
desktops.

A complete list of changes:

1) The current version of AMPPS for Windows include:
Softaculous 4.6.0
Apache 2.4.9
PHP 5.6.3, PHP 5.5.19, PHP 5.4.35 and 5.3.29

Python 2.7.2 with mod_wsgi 3.4 module

On windows 8 the update failed.
So I uninstalled 2.5 and installed 2.7. (On a different folder)
Now whenever I launch the AMPPS 2.7 a popup says there is a new version. It is trying to update the v2.7 when it is already installed.

Hi,
Thank you for bringing this to our notice. We will fix this issue soon in our next version. Till then you can disable your ampps auto update check. This will stop the update notification from showing.
To disable ampps update notification follow the below steps.
Open AMPPS application.
Right click on AMPPS icon in the system tray
Click on Configuration -> AMPPS
Uncheck the checkbox before "Check for ampps update"

Hi,
Ampps 2.8 version has been released. Please update to Ampps 2.8 version.
Ampps 2.7 update bug has been fixed in Ampps 2.8.
